Role- Senior Manager - Finance

The incumbent shall be responsible for internally managing financial information flows. Key duties include managing, planning, forecasting analyzing and preparing financial reports. Compliance with financial regulations, development of strategies to maximize profits and reduce costs, and assess investment decisions are a core expectation. Additionally, they must manage and monitor cash flow, oversee audits, and lead the audit team. The role is crucial for guiding financial decisions for the long-term success and growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.

- Monitor cash flow, banking, and investment activities to optimize financial performance.

- Develop and maintain financial policies, systems, and controls.

- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

- Lead annual audit processes and liaise with external auditors.

- Manage financial risks, including currency and interest rate exposures.

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely filing of returns.

- Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.

- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings.

- Reconciliation of bank statements and financial records.

- Implement and monitor accounting software systems for efficiency.

- Maintain and update the chart of accounts and internal accounting controls.

- Oversee administrative functions to ensure efficient operations.

- Develop and enforce company policies and procedures.

- Ensure compliance with labor laws and corporate governance standards.

- Train and coordinate with team and external CA/payroll/insurance/tax vendors etc.

- Conduct regular ISO and performance evaluations.

- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

- Provide financial insights to support business strategy and growth.

- Participate in senior management meetings and decision-making.

- Prepare presentations and reports for the Board and Shareholders.

- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and other process improvements.

- Seamless functioning of Tally, Keka and other systems

- Ensure compliance with India financial reporting standards

- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate risks.

- Manage legal and regulatory filings, licenses, and permits.

- Serve as the primary contact for authorities and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

- Preferred educational background includes a CA qualification.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with unwavering integrity and confidentiality.

- Solid grasp of financial terms and a good understanding of accounting principles.

- Proficient in both written and verbal communication.

- Strong functional knowledge in the areas of accounting and taxation.

- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

- Team player who can effectively collaborate and support colleagues.

- 9-12 years of relevant professional and management experience.
