Senior Manager - Finance - Automotive

Educational Qualification: CA / CMA / MBA (Finance). Good knowledge of Oracle / G-FAST system

Experience:

10-15 years, with at least 5+ years in auto manufacturing in plant finance & accounts. Preference for Japanese MNC exposure for Global Reporting consolidation, SOX.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fixed Assets Management & Insurance [Marine & TM] (Mandatory):

- Oversee capitalization, depreciation, and tracking of fixed assets

- Ensure adequate insurance coverage and claims management

2. Inventory & Cost Accounting (Mandatory)

- Manage inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and controls

- Handle product costing & profitability, variance analysis,

3. Direct Taxation (Income Tax, Transfer Pricing) (Mandatory)

- Ensure compliance with income tax regulations and filings

- Manage transfer pricing/Income Tax documentation and assessments, appeals

4. Banking & Cash Flow Management (Mandatory)

- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization

- Manage banking relationships and financial transactions

5. Financial Reporting, KPI & Planning (Mandatory)

- Preparation/good knowledge of financial statements and profitability reports

- Consolidation of financial actual results and MIS reporting to top management

- Develop & control FA annual budgets and long-term financial plans, & KPI

6. Department Management & Team Leadership (Mandatory)

- Lead and mentor the finance team with good collaboration, teamwork

- Ensure efficient department operations and performance monitoring

7. Indirect Taxation (GST) (Moderate)

- Ensure GST compliance, filings, and reconciliations

- Handle audits and respond to regulatory queries
