Senior Manager - Finance & Taxation

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Finance & Taxation to lead the organization's finance, accounting, taxation, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial planning, statutory compliance, financial reporting, treasury management, and internal controls. This role requires strong leadership capabilities to manage end-to-end finance operations while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall finance and accounting operations, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Prepare and review financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow Statements, in compliance with IGAAP and Ind AS standards.

- Oversee general ledger management, account reconciliations, and scrutiny of financial records.

- Monitor and manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and ageing analysis.

- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for all group companies.

- Develop and strengthen internal financial controls, accounting policies, and governance frameworks.

- Oversee statutory compliance, including:

1. GST filings and reconciliations

2. TDS compliance and returns

3. RBI regulatory filings (where applicable)

4. Direct and indirect tax compliance

- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

- Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury operations, and fund management.

- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and accounting standards.

- Support business leadership with financial analysis, MIS reports, and strategic decision-making.

- Oversee administrative functions, including facilities management, vendor management, and procurement coordination.

- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting and Corporate Finance.

- Hands-on experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

- Expertise in IGAAP and Ind AS financial reporting.

- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, RBI compliance, and direct & indirect taxation.

- Experience in treasury management, cash flow planning, and working capital management.

- Strong knowledge of statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory compliance.

- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, or equivalent.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
