Role Overview:
The Senior Manager (CA) - Finance & Accounts role is a critical position responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations of the company. This role involves managing the financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and internal controls to ensure the financial health and compliance of the organization. The Senior Manager will work closely with the senior management team, auditors, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and timely financial information and support strategic decision-making. This role directly impacts the company's profitability and long-term financial stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the taxation function, including GST, income tax, and other applicable taxes, ensuring timely and accurate filing of returns.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and address any audit findings.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management on key performance indicators, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Proven ability to analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Adaptability to work on-site in Surat.
