Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts - Real Estate - CA

This is a full time role with our client in Mumbai, which is into real estate/property development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Finalization of Books of Accounts:

1. Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) / applicable GAAP.

2. Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for audit completion and address audit queries.

3. Oversee general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial statements.

4. Monitor and review journal entries, provisions, and adjustments.

2. Taxation (Direct & Indirect):

1. Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax returns, and other statutory returns.

2. Liaise with tax consultants for tax planning, assessments, and litigations.

3. Ensure compliance with all applicable direct and indirect tax laws.

4. Handle GST audits, assessments, and resolve notices from tax authorities.

3. MIS & Financial Reporting:

1. Prepare monthly MIS reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Variance Analysis, and Financial Ratios.

2. Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

3. Provide analytical insights and reports to management for decision-making.

4. Develop and maintain dashboards and financial KPIs.

4. Internal Controls & Process Improvements:

1. Establish and monitor strong internal controls and SOPs.

2. Identify areas for cost optimization, process automation, and system improvements.

3. Implement ERP system controls and ensure data integrity.

5. Team Leadership & Coordination:

1. Lead and mentor the finance team; ensure ongoing training and development.

2. Collaborate with other departments (HR, Legal, Operations) for cross-functional finance needs.

3. Coordinate with external stakeholders such as auditors, consultants, and tax authorities.

Work experience:

- Candidate having 8+ yearsonwards in Real Estate sector will be preferred.

Education:

Must be CA qualified.
