Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts - CA

Job Description:

We are hiring a qualified Chartered Accountant to support the finance team. The role will primarily focus on books closure, statutory reporting, financial accounting, audit coordination, and ensuring compliance with accounting and corporate regulations. The candidate should possess strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage financial reporting timelines in a dynamic business environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.

- Ensure accurate accounting entries and timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

- Review GL, accruals, provisions, prepayments, and fixed assets accounting.

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (INDAS/IFRS) and company policies.

- Manage statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors.

- Coordinate with auditors & consultants for timely completion of audits.

- Ensure compliance with Companies Act and applicable accounting standards.

- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations.

- Oversee accounts payable and general ledger functions.

- Review vendor payments and ensure compliance with internal approval processes.

- Monitor accounting for fixed assets, capital projects, and lease accounting.

- Ensure accurate accounting of project costs and capitalization.

Financial Controls & Governance:

- Maintain a strong internal control framework and ensure compliance with company policies.

- Monitor financial risks and implement corrective actions where required.

- Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Support automation and digitization of finance processes.

- Prepare management reports, MIS, financial and variance analysis.

- Assist leadership with financial data and business insights.

Stakeholder Management:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, legal, and business finance.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8-10 years experience.

- Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting.

- Experience in infrastructure, real estate, technology, telecom, or Data Center Industry will be preferred.

- Experience in managing finance teams and month-end close processes.

- The most suitable candidate for this role is someone who is a DOER, willing to roll up sleeves & own the work, possess strong attention to details & has a bias for action.
