Role Overview:
As the Senior Manager (CA) - Finance & Accounts, you will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and budgeting for the organization. You will work closely with the CFO and other senior management to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective financial planning and analysis. This role directly impacts the company's financial health and strategic decision-making by providing timely and reliable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with various departments to develop realistic and achievable financial targets.
- Analyze financial performance against budget and prior periods, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including GST, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Lead the preparation and coordination of audits, working closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and develop junior members of the finance team, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Streamline accounting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial accounting, reporting, and budgeting processes.
- Proven expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, including GST and income tax.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
