Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on Finance & Accounts professional who can independently manage the end-to-end finance function, including accounting, statutory compliance, audits, financial reporting, FP&A, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end accounting: AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, fixed assets and payroll accounting.

- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual book closures and financial statements.

- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, PT and ROC-related compliances.

- Coordinate and independently manage statutory, internal and tax audits.

- Support/lead financial due diligence for fundraising, investor reviews and M&A activities.

- Prepare MIS, budget-vs-actual reports, cash-flow forecasts and financial analysis.

- Drive annual budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.

- Design and implement financial controls, SOPs and accounting processes.

- Manage and mentor the finance/accounts team.

- Handle banking relationships, fund transfers and working-capital activities.

- Work closely with leadership, HR, Sales and Delivery teams on finance-related activities.

Must-Have Skills:

- 6 - 10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with 2-3+ years in a senior/lead role.

- M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent.

- Strong experience in end-to-end accounting and finalization of books.

- Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance.

- Experience managing statutory/internal/tax audits.

- Exposure to financial due diligence, fundraising, investor reporting or M&A.

- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, MIS and financial analysis.

- Experience leading and mentoring finance/accounts teams.

- Proficiency in Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / ERP and Advanced Excel.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with auditors, banks and senior leadership.

- Startup or technology-company experience.

- Fundraising/investor due diligence exposure.

- Multi-entity or multi-GST accounting experience.

- RBI/FEMA compliance exposure.

- Cloud-based accounting/ERP experience.
