Finance Leadership

- Owner of budgeting and forecasting for warehousing and transportation

- Drive financial planning and monitoring of targets and KPIs

- Monitor revenue and cost trends across segments and regions, investigate root causes and analyze financial impact of budget/forecast deviations and recommend corrective measures

- Generate meaningful and actionable insights from analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making

- Evaluate feasibility and profitability of existing and potential businesses

- Instill financial discipline within sales and operations team

- Report to and maintain regular contact management, ensuring that reports are accurate, timely and clear

- Monitor and maintain the financial health of the organization throughout the course of the financial year(s)

Statutory Reporting

- Conduct a comprehensive review of the applicable Accounting Standards/Ind AS to ensure adherence in financial reporting. Prepare necessary notes and workings required for the Financial Statements.

- Verify the correctness of income booking and corresponding tax calculations. Ensure alignment with Indian accounting standards and provide recommendations for improvements.

- Ensure that all regular expenses are accurately recorded monthly basis review ledger entries for expenses and suggest corrections as necessary to maintain accuracy.

- Conduct a monthly review of the trial balance, identifying any discrepancies, and passing rectification entries as needed. Lock data after ensuring the completion of required rectification entries.

- Provide hands-on support in the finalization of Books of Accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy in accordance with Indian accounting standards.

- Lead in completing Statutory Audits by providing necessary oversight and support to the relevant teams.

- Collaborate with Statutory Auditors during Interim Reviews and Final Audits, ensuring a seamless process and addressing any queries they may have.

- Finalize financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) with respect to Ind AS, including disclosure standards and other statutory compliances
