Senior Manager - Equity Research - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS/CFA/CA/FRM

Position: Senior Manager - Equity Research

Location: Mumbai

Should have been in a team management role for at least last 3 years

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as primary client contact for global asset managers, hedge funds, family offices, and brokerage houses.

- Own end-to-end delivery of initiation notes, earnings updates, thematic reports, and financial models (DCF, comps, scenario analysis).

- Drive account growth through cross-selling and upselling.

- Ensure high-quality, insight-driven research with strict adherence to timelines.

- Lead and mentor a team of analysts; manage performance, training, and resource allocation.

- Support new client acquisition via proposals, pitch decks, and RFP responses.

- Create thought leadership content (whitepapers, market insights).

- Own account-level P&L, pricing, margin optimization, and key metrics (revenue per analyst, utilization, client satisfaction).

- Drive adoption of AI-enabled research tools and automation.

- Contribute to in-house research insights (articles, blogs, infographics).

Requirements:

- MBA (Finance) from top institute, CFA, CA ranker, or FRM.

- 10-14 years of equity research experience (sell-side/buy-side).

- Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, industry/company analysis, and report writing.

- Deep understanding of global equity markets.
