Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Manager - Enterprise Sales to drive business development and revenue growth by acquiring and managing mid-sized corporate clients. The role focuses on selling credit ratings, analytical services, and related solutions to CFOs, finance heads, promoters, and senior decision-makers across mid-market enterprises.
This is a front-end, individual contributor role requiring strong consultative selling capabilities, deal structuring skills, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Sales & Business Development
- Drive new business acquisition by selling credit rating and analytical solutions to mid-sized corporates
- Identify, target, and engage prospective clients across sectors through direct outreach and relationship-based selling
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, proposal development, negotiations, and closures
- Client Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with CFOs, finance directors, treasury heads, and promoters
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client capital structure, funding requirements, and business objectives
- Ensure high client satisfaction and generate repeat business and referrals
- Market & Sector Coverage
- Develop strong understanding of assigned sectors and mid-market corporate landscape
- Track market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive positioning
- Collaborate with analytical teams to deliver customized, value-driven solutions to clients
Internal Collaboration:
- Work closely with ratings, analytical, legal, and compliance teams to ensure smooth execution of mandates
- Ensure timely onboarding, documentation, and adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines
Revenue & Target Ownership:
- Own and deliver assigned revenue targets and client acquisition goals
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines and reporting through CRM systems
Key Requirements:
Experience:
- 8-14 years of experience in B2B / Enterprise Sales, preferably in financial services, credit ratings, banking, NBFCs, consulting, or capital market-linked businesses
- Proven experience selling to mid-sized corporates (turnover typically INR 250-3,000 Cr)
- Strong exposure to solution-based or consultative selling environments
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of corporate finance, balance sheets, and funding instruments
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Ability to engage senior finance decision-makers with credibility
- High ownership mindset, result-oriented, and self-driven
- Strong presentation and communication skills
Education:
CA / MBA (Finance / Marketing) / CFA or equivalent qualification preferred
