Sr Manager Enterprise Partnerships and Client Acquisition Group Credit Life

Position Overview : The mandate requires a high-calibre hunter who can originate, structure, and scale institutional partnerships linked to large retail and SME lending portfolios.
This role is focused on building profitable insurance distribution relationships embedded within lending businesses, with direct ownership of revenue generation, account scale-up, and long-term commercial outcomes.
Success in this role requires strong access within lending ecosystems, a deep understanding of credit-linked insurance products, and the ability to engage CXO-level stakeholders in complex multi-party environments.
Key Responsibilities : - Drive acquisition of large NBFC, HFC, MFI, and lending institution partnerships for Group Credit Life and Loan Protection insurance programs.
- Develop insurance-led monetisation models linked to lending portfolios and loan-book scale.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with CXOs, business heads, distribution leaders, and credit ecosystem stakeholders across lending institutions.
- Build and convert a high-quality pipeline aligned to group credit life and embedded solutions
- Structure and negotiate partnerships that balance scale, profitability, and long-term strategic alignment
- Own end-to-end account lifecycle, including onboarding, solution deployment, and performance management
- Deliver P&L outcomes across client portfolios, with a focus on revenue growth, margin optimisation, and renewals
- Lead cross-functional alignment across product, technology, operations, legal, and finance to ensure execution integrity
- Build and scale high-performance teams where applicable, with clear accountability for outcomes
- Leverage market intelligence, data, and competitive insights to refine acquisition strategy and positioning
Success Metrics : - Acquisition of new NBFC/HFC/MFI partnerships
- Growth in insured lending portfolio value
- Premium and revenue generation from acquired accounts

Education and Experience : 8-15 years of experience in enterprise sales, institutional partnerships, or business development within:
1. Group Credit Life Insurance
2. Loan Protection Insurance
3. Insurance Broking
4. Embedded Insurance
5. Lending ecosystem partnerships
- Direct experience in Group Credit Life / Credit Shield / Loan Protection products is mandatory.
- Pure bancassurance experience without institutional acquisition exposure will not be relevant.
- Track record of engaging with senior decision-makers and closing high-value partnerships
- Experience in P&L ownership and team leadership (for senior mandates)
- Exposure to embedded insurance or ecosystem partnerships is advantageous
