We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Ecommerce Manager to lead the end-to-end performance of our direct-to-consumer site and strategic e-retail partnerships. This role requires a unique blend of commercial acumen, product ownership, operational excellence, and relationship management to drive revenue growth, safeguard brand equity, and deliver a best-in-class online shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial & P&L Ownership:
- Take full accountability for the P&L of the ecommerce business, including sales, margins, and profitability targets
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to maximize revenue, conversion, and customer lifetime value
- Partner with finance and supply chain teams to optimize inventory management, markdown strategies, and sell-through rates
Product & User Experience:
- Define and own the ecommerce product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business impact
- Create user stories, manage release cadences, and collaborate with technology, UX, and design teams to deliver seamless customer journeys
- Continuously monitor and optimize site performance, navigation, and checkout experiences
Data & Analytics:
- Leverage tools such as Google Analytics/GA4, Excel/Sheets, and dashboards to analyze traffic, conversion, and sales data
- Translate data insights into actionable strategies and informed decision-making
- Implement A/B testing and performance reviews to enhance KPIs across channels
Platform & Technology Management:
- Manage ecommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Shopify Plus (or equivalent), ensuring stability and scalability
- Oversee integrations with OMS, ERP, CRM, and marketing automation tools to ensure smooth operations
- Partner with IT and vendors to resolve platform issues and implement new features
Stakeholder & Partner Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key e-retail partners, ensuring alignment on joint business plans and promotional campaigns
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and marketing opportunities to maximize visibility and profitability
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, supply chain, and customer service teams to align on goals and execution
Operations & Project Leadership:
- Lead complex cross-functional projects, ensuring on-time delivery of initiatives that improve site performance and customer satisfaction
- Establish efficient processes and workflows for content updates, promotions, and new product launches
- Maintain operational excellence with a focus on scalability, compliance, and best practices
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong product management experience including roadmaps, user stories, and agile delivery
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics/GA4, advanced Excel/Google Sheets, and data visualization dashboards
- Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Shopify Plus or equivalent) and integrations with OMS/ERP and CRM systems
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills with a track record of managing external partners and cross-functional teams
- Excellent project management capabilities, able to prioritize competing demands and drive complex programs to completion
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing ecommerce for consumer goods, retail, fashion, or lifestyle brands
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, performance marketing, and CRM campaign execution
- Familiarity with omnichannel retail and global ecommerce operations
