About the Role:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Valuation Professional to join our dynamic Valuation & Advisory team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, solid experience in performing and reviewing business valuations, and the ability to manage client relationships and junior team members.


Key Responsibilities:


- Lead and execute complex business and asset valuations for a variety of purposes including financial reporting, mergers & acquisitions, tax, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making.


- Develop financial models including DCF, market comparables, precedent transactions, and other valuation methodologies.


- Oversee valuation engagements and ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs in a timely manner.


- Review and validate financial models prepared by analysts and associates.


- Prepare and present detailed valuation reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.


- Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining and developing strong relationships.


- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members; assist in their technical and professional development.


- Work cross-functionally with audit, tax, M&A, and legal teams as needed.


- Stay current on industry trends, accounting and valuation standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, IVS, etc.).


- Support business development activities including proposal development, pitch presentations, and client meetings.


Key Requirements:


- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.


- Professional qualifications such as CFA, CA or similar preferred.


- 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in business valuation or financial advisory


- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is a must.


- In-depth understanding of valuation methodologies and industry standards.


- Experience in handling regulatory valuations (e.g., Purchase Price Allocation, Impairment Testing) is a plus.


- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.


- Ability to manage multiple engagements and work under tight deadlines.


- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and supervise junior staff.


Preferred Experience Areas:


- Financial Reporting Valuations (PPA, Goodwill Impairment)


- M&A and Transaction Advisory Support


- Start-up/early-stage company valuation


- Valuation for fundraising, ESOPs, or tax compliance


- Valuation of derivative instruments


- Exposure to multiple sectors such as Tech, Healthcare, Industrials, etc.
