Responsibilities: - Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management stakeholders to define and implement the future state capabilities for the client's cybersecurity requirements and programs. This involves envisioning and executing strategies to ensure the client's cyber defence aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. - Methodology and Tools Development: Develop and customize approaches, methods, and tools to support the client's cybersecurity risk programs and initiatives. This includes creating frameworks and tools to assess, manage, and mitigate cyber risks effectively. - Security Control Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of the management, operational, and technical security controls in place within both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems. Evaluate the effectiveness of these controls based on industry standards and frameworks. This assessment is crucial for ensuring the security of the systems and compliance with best practices. - Documentation Analysis: Prepare, review, and analyse important documents, including Plans of Actions, Security Assessment Reports (SAR), and Security Assessment Plans (SAP). These documents are essential for documenting the state of security controls and outlining strategies for improvement. - Cyber Posture Evaluation: Review the client's cyber posture, identifying strengths and weaknesses in the context of the business environment, goals, and objectives. This involves understanding how the current cybersecurity measures align with the organization's overall strategy. - Peer Review and Team Mentoring: Conduct peer reviews of assessments and documentation to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards. Additionally, mentor and guide team members, sharing expertise and knowledge in the field of cybersecurity. - In summary, as a Senior Manager/Director Cybersecurity in this role, you will be responsible for shaping the future of the client's cybersecurity efforts by working closely with senior management. - You will develop methods and tools, perform assessments of security controls, and evaluate the client's cyber posture. This role is instrumental in ensuring that the client's cybersecurity is aligned with industry standards, business goals, and best practices. It also involves mentoring and guiding team members to enhance the overall cybersecurity capabilities within the organization.
