Senior Manager - Direct Taxation - CA

SENIOR MANAGER DIRECT TAXATION:

The professional will be a part of the senior team of tax division for providing Direct Tax Litigation services to reputed Domestic & International Clients from diverse industries.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):

- Tax litigation preparation & representation of appeals and revisions including at CIT appeal, PCIT, DRP & ITAT levels.

- Representation before Investigation wing in search and seizure cases & other cases/Intelligence & Criminal Investigation (I&CI) Division / Investigation Wing/ Assessing Officer / IO in proceedings under Income Tax, The Black Money Law/Benami Law/PMLA etc.

- Representation before authorities in regular assessments and re-assessments.

- Presenting applications to the competent authority for matters under the tax treaties.

- Litigation support through assisting Senior counsels in preparing / representing appeals/ petitions before High Courts and Supreme Court.

- Identify, adapt and adopt relevant technology & tools to continuously innovate and enhance service delivery.

- Proactively manage client relationships to ensure the seamless execution and successful completion of litigation assignments. Engage with Promoters and Senior Management portfolios to align objectives and deliver exceptional service.

To qualify for this role, you must have:

- CA with 5+ yrs of post-qualification experience.

Requisite Experience, Skills & Attributes:

We seek a candidate with in-depth experience in the above services. Preference shall be given to candidates who possess:

- Experience in Direct Taxation Litigation at reputed consulting / CA firms / Law firms / Industry.

- Practical experience of representation at Tax department is essential.

- Expert technical knowledge in terms of understanding legislation.

- Excellent written and Verbal Communication & Presentation Skills.

- Sound commercial knowledge.
