We are looking for an experienced and strategic Finance Professional to lead debt-raising and treasury initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance or banking, with a proven track record of securing funds through various debt instruments (term loans, working capital, NCDs). You will manage relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions, oversee debt operations, and ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Debt Structuring and Execution: Lead the complete debt fundraising cycle, including origination, structuring, negotiation, and closure of debt deals.
- Fundraising Channels: Explore and secure funds via term loans, working capital lines, non-convertible debentures (NCDs), securitization, and other structured debt instruments.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs), Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), Mutual Funds, and Credit Rating Agencies.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and review financial models, cash flow projections, and Information Memorandums (IM) for lenders.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor debt covenants, ensure 100% compliance with reporting timelines, and manage security perfection and charge filings.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership on annual borrowing plans, cost of capital analysis, and capital structure optimization.
- MIS Reporting: Prepare and present Management Information Systems (MIS) reports, dashboards on debt position, and interest rate forecasts to senior management.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education: CA (Preferred) / MBA (Finance) / CFA or equivalent.
- Experience: 4-9 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Debt Syndication, or Treasury. (In the real estate industry)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modelling (advanced Excel) and understanding of corporate debt instruments.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of RBI guidelines, NBFC regulations, and credit rating processes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
