Job Description:

The Senior Manager/Deputy General Manager - Planning, Logistics & Warehousing will lead the end-to-end supply chain planning and execution for all brand formats and channels.

The role is responsible for ensuring product availability, freshness, inventory productivity, logistics efficiency, and warehouse operations while supporting profitable growth.

The incumbent will lead Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Replenishment, Warehousing, Transportation, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain Excellence through a customer-first and data-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for integrated Planning (Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Supply Planning) for all Stores across all categories (FMCG, STAPLES, FnV, FnM, DCF, BAKERY).

- Manage a team of 6-7 associates and ensure stock availability while optimizing working capital and logistics/warehousing costs.

- Coordinate with vendor-partners to ensure higher fill-rate and OTIF levels across DSD (Direct Store Delivery) and DC (Distribution Centre) supplies.

- Analyze process data and work with stakeholders to improve process efficiency.

- Ensure healthy demand forecasting process and improve forecast accuracy/bias.

- High coordination with Category on vendor issues, new vendor listings, and manual ordering.

- Constant focus on unhealthy and non-moving inventory, working with category and vendors on RTV processing through stores and DCs.

- Regularly collaborate with Category, Merchandising, Finance, Operations, and E-commerce teams.

- Manage 3rd party relationships with DC service providers and logistics operators to ensure seamless inventory movement across DCs and stores.

- Manage end-to-end cost budget related to distribution centre operations and transportation from DC to stores.

- The incumbent should have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Retail Supply Chain (Grocery Retail/Gourmet Retail preferred) or FMCG Supply Chain.
