Job Title: Senior Manager / DGM / General Manager - Marketing


1. Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Communication, related, MBA in Marketing preferred.

Job Summary:


We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented senior professional from the manufacturing sector with substantial experience in Sales and Marketing, specifically in the Electronics / Defense / Aerospace domains. The candidate will play a key role in expanding our market presence, developing new business opportunities (domestic & international), and driving defense program success.


Required Skills:


1. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.


2. Sound technical understanding of RF, MW, and SATCOM systems.


3. Proposal writing, bid coordination, and customer interfacing.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Sales & Marketing Strategy:


- Develop and implement marketing strategies focused on defense, aerospace, and electronics manufacturing sectors.


- Drive sales targets and revenue growth.


2. Business Development:


- Identify and develop new markets, products, and customer segments aligned with Avantels manufacturing capabilities.


- Build partnerships with global OEMs and technology partners.


3. Customer Engagement:


- Regular interaction and relationship management with defense customers (DRDO, ISRO, BEL, etc.), PSUs, and private players.


- Manage international clients and government organizations.


4. Program & Bid Management:


- Lead end-to-end program management of all defense-related projects.


- Oversee bid and proposal creation, compliance, and submission processes.


- Track and convert proposals into confirmed supply orders.


5. Technical Exposure:


- Strong exposure to RF and Microwave communication products and systems, including SATCOM.


- Stay up-to-date with relevant technologies and applications in the defense communication sector.


6. International Marketing:


- Develop and execute international marketing strategies.


- Handle exports, international defense exhibitions, and foreign collaborations.


Experience:


- 12-25 years of experience in Sales & Marketing from manufacturing sector (mandatory).


- Must have worked in Electronics / Aerospace / Defense verticals.


- Hands-on experience in international marketing, OEM interactions, and defense project management.
