Senior Manager - Demand Planning

Role Overview:

As a Senior Manager - Demand Planning, you will serve as the strategic architect of our supply chain ecosystem, bridging the gap between market volatility and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end forecasting process, ensuring that our inventory levels are perfectly aligned with consumer demand patterns. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional leaders in Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Logistics to synthesize market intelligence into actionable plans. By driving high-accuracy demand signals, you will directly influence our bottom-line profitability, minimize stock-out risks, and optimize working capital, ultimately ensuring that our customers receive the right products at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the monthly S&OP cycle by facilitating consensus meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment on volume forecasts and business objectives.

- Develop and refine sophisticated statistical forecasting models to improve accuracy and reduce bias, enabling the business to make data-backed inventory decisions.

- Analyze historical sales trends and market dynamics to identify potential risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights to the leadership team.

- Manage product lifecycle transitions, including new product launches and phase-outs, to ensure seamless inventory availability without excess obsolescence.

- Monitor key performance indicators such as Forecast Accuracy and Forecast Bias, implementing corrective measures to drive continuous improvement in supply chain reliability.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate mastery in quantitative analysis and statistical modeling, with the ability to translate complex data sets into clear, strategic narratives for senior management.

- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to influence cross-functional stakeholders and build consensus in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

- Possess a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, inventory management principles, and the ability to navigate ERP systems effectively.

- Hold a postgraduate degree in Management or Supply Chain from a premier institute, reflecting a strong foundation in business strategy and operational excellence.
