Role Overview:
The role will involve supporting advisory assignments across stressed assets, financial restructuring, investment banking, and IBC-related transactions. The candidate will work closely with clients, investors, financial institutions, the CoC, and internal and external advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and review the financial statements of target companies and prepare management presentations.
- Prepare pitch documents, client proposals, teasers, and other marketing materials.
- Develop detailed business plans and financial models based on client and transaction requirements.
- Support the team in developing a pipeline of buy-side and sell-side opportunities across sectors, with a focus on stressed assets and IBC-related transactions.
- Prepare teasers for stressed asset and IBC opportunities.
- Assist prospective investors during the due diligence process, including coordinating site visits and responding to information requests.
- Support the execution of sell-side mandates by coordinating with target companies, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Set up and manage virtual data rooms in coordination with third-party service providers.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Business Restructuring, Financial Due Diligence, Tax Due Diligence, and Tax Advisory.
- Support the preparation of Information Memorandums (IMs), Expressions of Interest (EOIs), and Requests for Resolution Plans (RFRPs) for IBC and non-IBC processes.
- Review resolution plans for compliance with the IBC, applicable regulations, and the RFRP.
- Coordinate with the Committee of Creditors (CoC), Resolution Professionals, lenders, investors, and external subject-matter experts.
- Assist in preparing transaction analyses, valuation assessments, cash-flow projections, and investor presentations.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and ensure confidentiality of client and transaction information.
- Lead and review team deliverables, mentor junior team members, and manage end-to-end workstreams, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, lenders, and other market participants to generate leads and support business development efforts.
Technical Competencies:
- Advanced financial modelling skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Ability to analyse financial statements and assess business performance.
- Understanding of valuation methodologies and transaction structures.
- Knowledge of the IBC, CIRP processes, and stressed-asset transactions.
- Familiarity with virtual data rooms and transaction management platforms.
- Ability to use AI-enabled analytical and productivity tools effectively.

- Experience in dealing with lenders, investors, Resolution Professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in stressed-asset transactions, distressed M&A, or insolvency-related assignments.
