Senior Manager - Data Scientist & GenAI

The candidate will drive advanced analytics opportunities in the BFSI sector, leading end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and team management. The ideal professional will bring a strong background in advanced analytics and proven success in delivering high-impact solutions for Indian clients.

Key Skills:

- Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.).

- Expertise in handling massive datasets (local/distributed) using tools such as Apache Spark, Vaex, Dask.

- Hands-on experience in building and deploying models including:

- Promotion optimization, NLP (BERT, DistilBERT), clustering, segmentation, recommendation systems.

- Fraud detection, lapsation prediction, neural networks (ANN, LSTM, transformers, attention models).

- Bagging, boosting, and generative models.

- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).

- Familiarity with ML-Ops pipelines for automated model training, deployment, and monitoring.

- Exposure to banking variables and bureau data for channel partnerships is preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Stakeholder Engagement Build strong partnerships with BFSI clients and channel partners, communicate methodologies effectively, and drive stakeholder confidence.

- Project Leadership Scope, plan, and deliver end-to-end analytics projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.

- Analytics Delivery Design and deploy high-impact data science and GenAI models to solve complex business problems and sharpen client strategies.

- Team Development Mentor, coach, and upskill junior data scientists; lead in-house training initiatives to build organizational capability.

- Compliance & Standards Ensure adherence to SOPs, documentation, and governance frameworks while maintaining best practices in model deployment.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 8+ years of experience in advanced analytics.

- Graduate/Postgraduate degree from Tier-I colleges.

- Ability to design and review new solution concepts and lead the delivery of high-impact analytics solutions and programs for global clients

- Strong understanding of statistical concepts.
