Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field; certifications in database management and data analysis preferred

Knowledge & Skills Required :

- Database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL), performance tuning, backup and recovery, database security, data warehousing, ETL processes, SQL and scripting languages, data analysis tools, report generation, and ERP integration.

-Worked extensively on the Oracle Fusion.

Understands Segregation of Duties (SOD) and Delegation of Authority (DoA) and replicates the same in Oracle User Access management.

-Should understand statutory requirements and hence incorporates the same principle is updating and managing Vendor, Customer & tax masters.

-Should understand Chart of Accounts and should be able to manage and update the same.

- Should understand all interdependencies in oracle and support creating of reports in sync with master management.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer and maintain enterprise databases ensuring their optimal performance, availability, and security.

- Monitor database performance and conduct tuning and optimization activities.

- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard data.

- Analyse complex datasets to generate actionable business reports and insights.

- Develop and maintain database-related documentation, policies, and procedures.

- Collaborate with ERP functional and technical teams to support system integration and data accuracy.

- Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and regulatory requirements.

- Stay updated on emerging database technologies and recommend improvements.

- Lead database migration and upgrade projects as needed.

- Ensure 99.9% database uptime and high system availability.

- Achieve timely and accurate data analysis and reporting to support business needs.

- Maintain data integrity, security compliance, and audit readiness.
