This role will own all short- and long-term planning, fulfilment, reverse logistics & remanufacturing of finished goods and spares for after sales service operations to support out of global distribution & remanufacturing centres and is responsible for managing the supply-demand balance through the product life cycle in-line with global warranty policy. This role oversees and manages the operations of a team of planning, fulfilment, reverse logistics & contract remanufacturing teams with the objective of balancing inventory investment, service level and customer NPS improvement activities. The role has a key influence into product transitions through the product life cycle management while working with Customer Service, Product Engineering, PLMs, Manufacturing Planning, DC operations & Contract Rework centres along with people management and people development responsibilities. Key Responsibilities and Outcomes (What the Person needs to accomplish in the role ?) : - Responsible for leading integrated RMA planning, fulfilment, returns & remanufacturing activities across the organization working with cross functional teams, Review, identify, and mitigate any near-term and long-range imbalances of supply and demand using quantitative analysis and data-based decision making. - Responsible for supporting the global customers and/or installer base to ensure supply availability to meet and exceed service needs, even after product discontinuation, as per the global/regional warranty standards - Creates, implements, and monitors RMA planning, Fulfilment, returns & rework KPI's to drive business improvements. - Facilitates and coordinates with Procurement, Product Engineering, PLMs, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics & Customer service to support customers through the product life cycle stages for MRO - Proactively manages and develops the performance of direct reports and team members through performance management, calibration, resource review and planning, capability, disciplinary, training and development. Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop cross functional teams, excellent in communication and people skills, ability to establish rapport and hold people accountable Qualifications: Education, Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Behaviour) and Experience Minimum Qualifications : - BE, MBA from TIER 1 or 2 Institute with 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain Functional Roles - Preferably aftermarket/MRO/service supply chain experience with at least 7-8 years of experience in managerial and leadership roles, managing regional and global supply chains - Experience in working in office suite (proficiency with MS Excel) & Supply planning ERP systems - Must be fundamentally strong in functional supply chain management processes, along with proven experience in process improvement and working with ERP systems.
