Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead quality planning in all phases of New Product Development (NPD) to ensure superior customer experience.

- Collaborate with cross- functional teams to finalize product requirements and integrate learnings from existing products.

- Drive root cause analysis, failure investigation, and corrective actions in coordination with R&D, sourcing, and manufacturing.

- Facilitate field validation, risk management, and ORC closures, ensuring reliability targets (MTBF) before production launch.

- Ensure homologation compliance and faster resolution of customer complaints through effective diagnosis and rectification.

- Conduct competition benchmarking and apply insights to strengthen product quality and performance.

- Be conversant with farm implements, applications, complaint resolution, drawing study, inspection techniques, and tools.

Technical skills :

- Failure Analysis & Root Cause Techniques : Skilled in FMEA, 8D, RCA, Fishbone/Ishikawa, and corrective/preventive actions.

- ORC Management : Expertise in identifying, tracking, and closing Open Risks (ORCs) with mitigation plans before production.

- Reliability Engineering : Knowledge of MTBF/MTTR calculations, risk assessment, and validation planning.
