Senior Manager - Credit Operations - Corporate Banking/CIB

Description: A leading global institutional banking platform is looking to hire a senior operations leader within its Corporate and Institutional Banking COO function. The role will own end-to-end credit operations with a strong focus on loan drawdowns, disbursements, controls, and service delivery. This is a people leadership role responsible for operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and process excellence in a complex credit environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and oversee drawdown and loan disbursement processing for corporate banking transactions

- Lead and manage a credit operations team delivering transactional support to business units

- Ensure robust controls across transaction processing and approvals within delegated authority

- Monitor and meet SLAs to prevent interest or charge losses to bank or customers

- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and efficiency enhancement

- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and audit standards

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 8-18 years of experience in credit operations within corporate or institutional banking

- Strong exposure to loan drawdowns, disbursements, and credit servicing processes

- Experience working in a complex legal and Indian regulatory environment

- Background in corporate banking, trade finance, or credit administration preferred

- Proven people management and service delivery ownership experience

- Willingness to work onsite at GIFT City, Gandhinagar
