Sr. Manager - CSR
Description:
- To lead the compliance related activities for the Board and CSR committee and to provide assurance/certification that all provisions applicable are complied with in accordance with the CSR law and rules.
- To ensure that the trusts which are undertaking CSR activities are well supported with accounting systems, guidelines, have proper control mechanisms.
- To ensure that the Trusts undertaking CSR activities file all due statutory returns in time.
- To support Trust / Implementing Agencies with proper Revenue and capital Budgeting and cost analysis.
- To prepare approval requests for CSR Spends in accordance with internal guidelines and to ensure that amounts are spent in line with the approvals.
- To visit each of the Trusts/implementing agencies on a monthly basis to review the accounting and other work.
- During visits, identify actions for improvement and finalise suitable corrective actions
- To prepare monthly MIS in respect of CSR spend.
- Detailed MIS to be prepared for identified CSR activities.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Overall experience of 7-10 years of which at least 4 years in handling Trust/CSR work is essential.
- CA qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Expert knowledge of the statutory requirements of Trusts and the CSR law/rules governing these Trusts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be willing to travel at least 10 days per month
