Job Description: Senior Manager/Controller - Finance

Position: Senior Manager / Controller Finance

Qualification: Qualified CA

Experience: 8-15 years of progressive experience in controllership, finance consulting, or advisory environments.

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India

What You'll Do

India Controllership & Statutory Governance:

- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close; ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and group policies.

- Own statutory audit and tax audit processes in coordination with internal stakeholders and external auditors.

- Ensure compliance with Indian statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g., GST, TDS, corporate tax, FEMA, Companies Act) with clean documentation and audit-ready hygiene.

- Oversee preparation and filing of financial statements, board documentation, ROC filings, and other statutory deliverables.

- Drive internal controls and compliance programs (including SOX-aligned controls where applicable); strengthen risk mitigation and control enhancements.

- Coordinate with shared services / third-party vendors for payroll, AP/AR, and other finance operations as needed.

- Monitor intercompany transactions and transfer pricing documentation; ensure adherence to global policies and governance.

Consulting, Business Partnering & Strategic Finance:

- Act as a finance advisor to business leaders-supporting cost optimization, margin improvement, and operational efficiency.

- Lead finance transformation and process improvement initiatives (ERP enhancements, automation, standardization, policy/process redesign).

- Partner with global teams on cross-border matters such as entity setup, restructuring, and financial modelling.

- Support internal stakeholders on project budgeting, pricing models, and ROI / business case assessments.

- Support due diligence, M&A integration, or divestiture-related finance workstreams as applicable.

- Build and present financial dashboards and key metrics for India and global leadership; enable decision-ready visibility.

Qualifications & Experience

- Qualified CA with 10-15 years of progressive experience in controllership, finance consulting, or advisory environments.

- Strong command of Indian accounting, tax, and compliance requirements; exposure to global accounting standards and multinational finance environments preferred.

- Experience working in or with GCCs and stakeholder-heavy environments.

- Exposure to and experience using financial close software (FloQast/Numeric/Blackline)

- Tracking KPIs and Reporting (for the Senior Manager/Controller role)

- Hands-on experience with ERPs/finance systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Tally, or similar).
