The Senior Manager - Pharma Domain is a pivotal role within the healthcare sector, based in Mumbai, focusing on strategic sourcing and transformation projects. This role requires a deep understanding of global business services, shared services, and outsourcing models within the pharmaceutical industry.

Description

- 6-9 years of experience in the consulting landscape, outsourcing, and GCCs, with a strong understanding of at least one business function such as finance, procurement, HR, or IT operations.

- Proven experience with GCC setup and shared service optimization, particularly within the healthcare sector.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build complex financial models and business cases.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of interacting with senior clients and conveying complex solutions effectively.

- Experience in project management, with a preference for candidates with PMP certification or equivalent experience in managing large-scale projects.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple tasks and timelines efficiently.

- Experience in networking and building professional relationships within and outside the firm, enhancing the firm's market presence.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of sourcing models, including shared services, outsourcing, and global business services, tailored to client needs within the pharma domain.

- Manage the entire transformation journey for shared services, from feasibility studies, business case development, to target operating model design and implementation.

- Guide clients through effective outsourcing decisions, including RFP development, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and end-of-term support.

- Act as a project lead on client-facing engagements, ensuring successful planning, resourcing, and delivery of projects while meeting client expectations.

- Develop proposals for large managed services pursuits, leveraging industry insights and best practices to enhance client offerings.

- Engage with senior client stakeholders to provide strategic insights and new perspectives on project delivery and optimization strategies.

- Contribute to firm-level initiatives such as business development, tool and methodology development, and the creation of thought leadership materials.

- Monitor team performance, providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities for professional development to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Requirements

- Master's in business administration or related field (Tier 1 preferred but not mandatory)
