
Senior Manager - Compensation & Total Rewards (10-15 yrs)
About the job:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager in Performance & Total Rewards to join our client's Total Rewards team.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compensation and benefits management, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to design, implement, and manage competitive and innovative compensation and benefits programs.
- This role involves working closely with employees, HR partners, and senior management to ensure our compensation and benefits packages are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Compensation Management:
- Analyze market trends and conduct compensation benchmarking to ensure the organization's salary structure remains competitive.
- Administer and manage the annual salary review process, quarterly and monthly compensation related interventions, ensuring fairness and consistency across the organization.
- Develop and implement variable pay and incentive programs (including long-term incentive plans) to drive employee performance and engagement.
- Provide guidance to HR and hiring managers on job evaluations and salary negotiations.
Benefits Administration:
- Oversee the design, communication, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with legislative changes related to benefits, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Collaborate with benefits vendors and brokers to negotiate competitive rates and offerings.
- Address employee inquiries related to benefits and facilitate open enrollment processes.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics tools to analyze compensation and benefits data, providing insights to support decision-making.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on compensation and benefits metrics, trends, and cost analysis.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses as required to support HR and business initiatives.
Compliance and Policy Development:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Develop, update, and communicate policies and procedures related to compensation, benefits, and leave programs.
- Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation related to compensation and benefits practices.
Employee Engagement:
- Collaborate with HR and management teams to develop and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement through compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct employee workshops and training sessions to educate employees about their compensation and benefits packages.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification (Certified Compensation Professional) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in compensation and benefits management roles.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation structures, benefits programs, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in HRIS and data analytics tools.
- High level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
