
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Compensation & Benefits (C&B) to lead and manage total rewards strategy for our India operations. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits programs that align with Oaktree's global policies while being competitive within the local market.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation Strategy & Design:
- Develop and implement compensation frameworks (base, variable pay, incentives) aligned to business goals and global standards.
- Conduct salary benchmarking, market analysis, and ensure pay competitiveness.
- Partner with global HR and leadership on annual compensation planning and budgeting.
Benefits Management:
- Design and manage employee benefits programs including health, wellness, retirement, insurance, and flexible benefits.
- Evaluate and enhance benefit offerings to support employee engagement and retention.
Performance & Rewards:
- Collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders to align rewards with performance management outcomes.
- Drive pay-for-performance culture and ensure consistency in reward decisions.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure C&B policies adhere to Indian labor laws, tax regulations, and global compliance standards.
- Partner with external consultants and vendors to optimize compensation and benefit programs.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Use data and analytics to measure effectiveness of programs and recommend enhancements.
- Prepare regular dashboards and reports for leadership on compensation metrics.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA / Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8-12 years of progressive HR experience with strong focus on Compensation & Benefits, preferably in financial services, consulting, or global capability centers.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, tax implications, and benefits landscape.
- Proven expertise in compensation benchmarking, analytics, and market surveys.
- Experience in handling annual compensation review cycles, incentive planning, and benefits redesign.
