As a Senior Manager - Compensation and Benefits, you will play a crucial role in shaping and managing the overall compensation strategy of the organization. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around managing the year-end compensation cycle, performance-linked increment distribution, implementing the Total Rewards philosophy, overseeing the AOP and budgeting process, conducting salary benchmarking studies, working with large datasets for compensation analysis, analyzing labor costs, and making recommendations, as well as managing the promotion and job evaluation process. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating and executing incentive and variable pay plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing Year-End Compensation Cycle:

- Lead and coordinate the year-end compensation cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of compensation adjustments.

- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to gather necessary data and validate compensation changes.

Performance-Linked Increment Distribution:

- Design and implement a structured process for distributing performance-linked increments.

- Work closely with performance management teams to align increments with individual and team achievements.

Total Rewards Philosophy Implementation:

- Understand the organization's Total Rewards philosophy and ensure its effective implementation.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to communicate and educate employees on the Total Rewards framework.

AOP and Budgeting Process Management:

- Manage the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and budgeting process related to compensation.

- Analyze financial implications of proposed changes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Conducting Salary Benchmarking Studies:

- Conduct comprehensive salary benchmarking studies to ensure the organization remains competitive in the market.

- Utilize external market data to provide insights and recommendations for competitive compensation structures.

Compensation Analysis with Large Datasets:

- Work with large datasets to perform in-depth compensation analysis.

- Present findings and insights to leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making related to compensation strategies.

Labour Cost Analysis and Recommendations:

- Analyze labor costs across different departments and business units.

- Provide recommendations for optimizing labor costs while maintaining competitiveness and employee satisfaction.

Promotion and Job Evaluation Process Management:

- Oversee the promotion and job evaluation process, ensuring fairness and consistency.

- Collaborate with HR and department heads to align promotions with performance and organizational objectives.

Incentive and Variable Pay Plans:

- Develop, implement, and manage incentive and variable pay plans.

- Align incentive structures with organizational goals to drive performance and motivation.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.

- Proven experience in compensation and benefits management, with a focus on data analysis and strategic planning.

- In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, salary structures, and industry best practices.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and present actionable insights.

- Experience in managing year-end compensation cycles and budgeting processes.

- Familiarity with Total Rewards philosophy and its practical implementation.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
