Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to lead Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Governance across the organization.

The role will be responsible for strategic sourcing across Professional Services, Consulting, Audit Services, Banking Tools/Technology Services, and Technical Manpower, while also owning procurement governance, compliance, vendor risk management, contract governance, and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:

- Manage end-to-end sourcing including requirement gathering, RFP/RFQ, vendor evaluation, negotiations and vendor finalization.

- Handle procurement of Professional Services, Consulting, Audit Services, Banking Tools/Technology and Technical Manpower.

- Drive cost optimization, benchmarking and sourcing effectiveness.

Procurement Governance & Compliance:

- Act as the governance lead for procurement activities across the organization.

- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, SCM procedures, DOA, contracting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

- Drive periodic procurement compliance reviews and identify process/control gaps.

Vendor Risk & Due Diligence:

- Lead vendor onboarding and due diligence.

- Conduct vendor compliance and risk assessments.

- Manage regulatory, blacklist and other required vendor checks.

Contract Governance:

- Review vendor agreements and ensure adherence to contracting guidelines.

- Monitor contract validity, renewals, amendments and contractual obligations.

- Identify contractual risks and ensure appropriate mitigation.

Audit & Reporting:

- Coordinate procurement-related internal and external audits.

- Maintain audit readiness and procurement documentation.

- Prepare procurement spend analysis, compliance reports and risk assessments.

- Drive closure of audit observations and corrective actions.

Mandatory Requirements:

- 10 - 15 years overall experience.

- Strong experience in Indian Procurement / Strategic Sourcing.

- Hands-on procurement experience across:

1. Professional Services

2. Consulting Services

3. Audit Services

4. Banking Tools / Technology Services

5. Technical Manpower / Resource Augmentation

- Proven experience as a Procurement Governance Lead / owner across an organization.

- Strong experience in vendor due diligence, vendor risk, contract governance, compliance and procurement audits.

- Strong experience in spend analysis and procurement MIS/reporting.

Education:

Engineering / B.Tech / BBA / MBA from a recognized institute. Procurement, Supply Chain, Contract Management or Vendor Risk certifications are an advantage.

Preferred Industry Exposure:

Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, NBFC, Insurance, Technology Services, Consulting, or other highly regulated industries.

Note: Industry exposure is preferred, not mandatory; the mandatory requirement is the relevant procurement and governance experience.
