Senior Manager - Business Finance

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Business Finance professional with over 10 years of experience in financial planning, business finance, and P&L ownership. The ideal candidate will partner closely with senior leadership, driving growth, profitability, and strategic decision-making through strong financial insights, business acumen, and a proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead business finance partnering across multiple verticals, ensuring financial goals align with overall strategic objectives.

- Oversee P&L management and provide actionable insights to improve revenue, margins, and cost efficiencies.

- Build and maintain robust budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking frameworks, ensuring timely and accurate MIS reporting.

- Contribute to strategic planning, business case reviews, and scenario modeling to support leadership decisions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, Product, Marketing, Tech, etc.) to assess commercial proposals, new initiatives, and strategic investments.

- Conduct deep financial analysis to evaluate performance, uncover opportunities, and mitigate risks.

- Drive process improvements and automation to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Required Skills & Competencies

- 10+ years of experience in Business Finance and FP&A, preferably in high-growth sectors such as technology, fintech, or e-commerce.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to link financial performance to strategic outcomes.

- Demonstrated experience in P&L ownership, influencing strategic decisions, and enhancing profitability.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.

- Self-starter with the ability to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership through data-driven insights.

- High intellectual curiosity, agility, and execution excellence.

- Advanced skills in financial modeling, Excel, and analytical tools; experience with BI tools is a plus.

Education: MBA (Finance), Chartered Accountant, or an equivalent professional qualification.
