Key Responsibilities:
- Market Scanning & Competitive Tracking
- Lead efforts to identify new market opportunities in the Open Access solar sector.
- Track competitor movements and market trends to position TSIL for competitive advantage.
- Develop strategies to capitalize on emerging trends, ensuring TSIL stays ahead in the industry.
Developing New Business Lines
- Identify and pursue opportunities within the Open Access solar market by understanding relevant regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create strategies for sustainable business growth.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory frameworks while expanding TSIL's business horizons.
- Develop a Solar+BESS business model, including a commercial understanding of key technologies and technological parameters, and the business landscape.
Oversee Contractual Frameworks & Documentation
- Lead negotiations for Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with commercial and industrial clients.
- Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts protect TSIL's interests.
- Ensure all PPAs comply with current laws and regulations, optimizing business outcomes.
Regulatory Compliance & Strategic Oversight
- Stay updated on industry regulations and developments in the solar energy sector.
- Ensure all projects meet local, state, and federal regulatory standards by coordinating with construction and legal teams.
- Provide strategic oversight to navigate regulatory challenges, ensuring smooth project execution.
Candidate Profile:
- MBA in Marketing or B. Tech.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Fully conversant with key MS Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Should be an expert in market analysis, with a deep understanding of the Open Access solar market and its regulatory landscape.
- Possess strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close complex deals.
- A strategic thinker who can see the big picture and has the leadership potential to grow into a larger role within the company.
