Responsibilities include: - Thoroughly analyze the Indian Navy's needs and requirements, as well as the needs of other naval forces internationally. - Identify potential projects, tenders, and RFPs (Requests for Proposals). - Tailor products and services (e.g., counter-drone solutions, simulation systems, modular firing ranges) to meet the specific needs of potential clients. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the Indian Navy, foreign navies, and government agencies. - Conduct physical visits for presentations and liaison with channel partners and naval defense industry stakeholders. - Represent the company at global defense forums, trade shows, seminars, and exhibitions organized by SIDM, DDP, FICCI, CII, ASOCHAM, and other relevant entities. - Collaborate with Indian Naval Attachés posted abroad, foreign Naval Attachés stationed in India, and key Embassy contacts to explore and leverage maritime defense export opportunities in foreign countries. - Coordinate visits of foreign delegations to facilities and arrange high-level meetings with stakeholders. - Regularly report on market trends, business opportunities, and competitive landscape. - Monitor competitors and gather intelligence on pricing trends and strategies. Skills & Competencies Required: - MBA/PGDM (Marketing/International Business) or equivalent. - 5-9 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in the Navy sector. - Prior experience in global Navy sales, exports, and strategic partnerships is highly desirable. - Expertise in contract negotiation and high-value deal structuring. - In-depth understanding of government and Navy procurement processes across various international markets. - Excellent relationship management skills with Navy stakeholders, embassies, and government bodies. - Willing to travel extensively. - Ex-Naval personnel with business development expertise preferred.
