Senior Manager - Business Development


Position Overview


We are seeking an accomplished Senior Manager Business Development to lead our growth initiatives across South India. The role requires a strong domain background in natural stones, marble, or large-format tiles, with a proven ability to drive business expansion, build strategic partnerships, and lead high-performing regional teams.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Growth & Business Development


- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across Karnataka and neighboring states.


- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with the companys growth objectives.

- Drive revenue expansion through project sales, channel partnerships, and key account management.

Client Relationship Management


- Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and developers.

- Represent the brand at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry networking forums.


- Deliver tailored solutions that align with customer requirements and market trends.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

- Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and emerging opportunities in the natural stone and building materials sector.

- Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Team Leadership & Development

- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing regional sales and business development team.

- Set performance goals, track outcomes, and ensure achievement of sales targets.

- Foster a collaborative, performance-driven culture across the business development function.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management.

- Experience: Minimum 10+ years in business development, sales, or project sales within marble, natural stone, or building materials industries.

- Proven track record in managing and expanding business operations across South India.

- Strong leadership, negotiation, and client management skills.

- Proficiency in regional South Indian languages is highly preferred.
