Senior Manager - Business Development
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to
drive revenue growth, forge strategic partnerships, and expand our market presence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales and business development, with the ability to identify and close high-value opportunities.
As a senior leader in the business development team, you will play a key role in shaping our growth strategy, mentoring junior team members, and representing the company in client and industry engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan aligned with company goals.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and partners.
- Lead client acquisition efforts, including outreach, pitch preparation, proposals, negotiations, and final closures.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle, from lead generation to post-sale follow-up and client onboarding.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, delivery, legal) to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade shows, and networking forums.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify new areas for growth.
- Maintain accurate records of pipeline, forecast, and deal progress in the CRM.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on business development best practices and strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 7 to 10+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of consultative or solution-based selling methodologies.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM).
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to structure and close complex deals.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and business engagements as needed
