Senior Manager Business Applications (Finance IT)

Role Summary:

The Senior Manager Business Applications will act as the bridge between the Finance function and IT, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective technology solutions. The role will lead finance application projects, drive system enhancements, and support digital transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on SAP Finance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with Finance, Controlling, and Tax teams to understand business requirements and recommend suitable technology solutions.

- Lead end-to-end finance transformation and system implementation projects, including planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

- Manage SAP Finance applications (SAP FICO) and support SAP ECC and S/4HANA implementation or transformation projects.

- Ensure solutions comply with business processes, regulatory requirements, and IT governance standards.

- Coordinate with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

- Drive system improvements, process optimization, and adoption of new technologies to enhance business efficiency.

- Manage project risks, issue resolution, and change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.

- Provide ongoing support and governance for finance applications to ensure system stability and performance.

Key Requirements:

- Strong experience in IT with expertise in SAP Finance (SAP FICO).

- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation projects.

- Proven experience in business analysis, stakeholder management, and translating business requirements into technology solutions.

- Strong project and program management experience with end-to-end implementation exposure.

- Experience working with Finance, Controlling, and Tax business functions.

- Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders, implementation partners, and vendors effectively.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

- Experience in Consumer Goods, FMCG, Retail, or similar industries is preferred.
