Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic professional to lead audit exception analysis, corrective action planning, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance operational efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for examining audit exceptions, identifying root causes, recommending preventive measures, and ensuring corrective actions are successfully implemented. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical acumen, stakeholder management capabilities, and a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement across teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Exception Analysis

- Review and analyze exceptions raised during internal or external audits to identify underlying issues, recurring trends, and process gaps.

- Resolve routine and standard exceptions independently while escalating high-impact, systemic, or complex cases for further evaluation.

- Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) to understand exception triggers and propose resolution pathways.

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Corrective Action Planning

- Partner with AI, Operations, Delivery, and Quality teams to design effective corrective action plans addressing identified exceptions.

- Facilitate seamless communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment on action steps and timelines.

- Ensure corrective actions are executed as per plan and integrated into operational workflows.

3. Documentation, Reporting & Impact Tracking

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of exceptions, analyses conducted, resolutions, and associated business impact.

- Create and present detailed exception-handling reports highlighting trends, root causes, resolution effectiveness, and insights for leadership.

- Track the performance of corrective actions and measure their impact on process performance and audit outcomes.

4. Subject-Matter Expertise & Preventive Measures

- Serve as a subject-matter expert on exception management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.

- Guide teams on exception-handling protocols and resolution standards.

- Recommend preventive strategies, process improvements, and policy enhancements to minimize recurring exceptions and strengthen operational efficiency.

5. Leadership & Strategic Thinking

- Provide thought leadership in exception management, process improvement, and operational risk mitigation.

- Inspire and guide cross-functional teams to adopt best practices and drive continuous improvement.

- Anticipate potential risks, analyze market and operational trends, and contribute to long-term process enhancement strategies.

- Support organizational change initiatives by influencing teams and driving alignment toward common goals.

Qualifications We Seek in You:

- Proven experience in business analysis, quality assurance, or audit / exception management within a complex organizational environment.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, identify patterns, and translate insights into actionable plans.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams.

- Experience in change management or process improvement programs within dynamic, fast-paced organizations.

- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to craft effective change, compliance, and transformation strategies.

- Experience with RCA, risk analysis, quality frameworks, or audit tools is a plus.
