Role Overview
This role is centered on building, scaling, and transforming brands into high-impact business drivers. The incumbent will lead brand strategy, positioning, portfolio expansion, and innovation, with a strong focus on enterprise value creation across both B2B and B2C ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Development & Strategy (Core Focus)
- Own the end-to-end brand development agenda from defining purpose to scaling market presence
- Craft differentiated brand positioning, architecture, and storytelling
- Drive long-term brand equity, salience, and premiumization strategies
- Translate consumer insights into impactful brand propositions and campaigns
2. Brand Portfolio & Growth
- Manage and expand the brand portfolio across categories and segments
- Identify whitespace opportunities and lead brand extensions / sub-brands
- Strengthen brand performance through data-driven decision making
3. New Product Development (NPD)
- Anchor brand-led innovation by identifying consumer needs and market gaps
- Lead NPD with a brand-first lens (concept positioning launch strategy)
- Ensure strong brand coherence across product launches
4. Integrated B2B & B2C Branding
- Build cohesive brand narratives across enterprise clients and end consumers
- Enable sales with strong brand-led value propositions for B2B channels
- Ensure consistent brand identity across all touchpoints
5. Enterprise Value Creation
- Drive brand initiatives that contribute directly to revenue growth and margin expansion
- Enhance brand valuation and long-term business impact
- Track and optimize brand ROI, equity scores, and market performance metrics
6. Cross-functional Leadership
- Collaborate with sales, product, R&D, and leadership teams to embed brand thinking
- Lead brand-driven projects with clear outcomes and timelines
Key Requirements
- 10-15 years of experience with strong focus on Brand Development / Brand Management
- Proven success in building or scaling brands in FMCG/FMCH
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, brand strategy, and storytelling
- Experience across B2B + B2C brand ecosystems
- Strong exposure to NPD with brand-led innovation
- MBA from a Tier 1 / Premier institute
