Senior Manager - Banking & Financial Services Consulting

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Banking & Financial Services Consultant with a Big4 Consulting firm in Mumbai to lead business consulting and digital transformation engagements for leading Indian Banks and Financial Institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead consulting engagements across Liabilities, Assets, Lending, SME Banking, and related banking functions.

- Drive business transformation, operating-model design, process optimisation, and digital transformation initiatives.

- Engage with senior client stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and present actionable recommendations.

- Lead strategy, business assessments, due diligence, business cases, and transformation roadmaps.

- Structure complex business problems, identify root causes, and develop practical, measurable solutions.

- Lead consulting workstreams and mentor/manage consulting teams.

- Support business development, proposals, solutioning, and account growth.

Ideal Profile:

- 6+ years of experience in Banking / Financial Services Consulting (Indian Banking mandatory).

- Strong understanding of the Indian Banking sector.

- Experience with Big 4 or leading management/financial-services consulting firms preferred.

- Strong experience in functional/business consulting and Non-Technical digital transformation.

- Exposure to Liabilities, Assets, Lending, SME Banking, Strategy, or Operating Model Transformation.

- Excellent client management, communication, structured problem-solving, and executive presentation skills.

- Proven ability to manage teams and influence senior stakeholders.

- MBA/PGDM from a reputed institution preferred; relevant Bachelor's degree required.
