Senior Manager/AVP - Depository Operations

Role Overview:

- We are seeking a candidate with expertise in Depository Participant operations in the Indian Capital Markets, specializing in both CDSL and NSDL operations.

- This role is crucial for managing and setting up all depository processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process Setup and Management: Setting up all operational processes and systems and handling daily operations, including dematerialization, rematerialization, and mutual fund transactions (Destat/Restat).

- Transaction Handling: Oversee various transaction types, such as off-market, inter-depository, and on-market transfers, as well as Early Pay-in and E-DIS processes.

- Exchange Operations: Manage securities pay-in and pay-out processes for exchanges like NSE and BSE. This includes handling pledge, unpledge, and invocation for margin purposes.

- Compliance & Audits: Ensure all operations adhere to SEBI guidelines. This role will be responsible for submitting internal and concurrent audit reports and assisting with annual inspections from CDSL, NSDL and SEBI.

- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with depositories like CDSL and NSDL, as well as back-office vendors, to resolve system and operation-related queries.

- Process Development and Documentation: Work closely with other internal stake holders like Product, Technology and Internal Audit teams, develop the process and maintenance of SOP

- Process Automation: Figuring out the Scope of Automation and continuously improve the process cycles and reduce the manual touch points

- Team Management: Should be able to manage a team of 4-5 people on shore and offshore.

Certifications Required: NISM VI - Depository Operations Certification
