Senior Manager/AVP - Debt Investment Banking

Key Responsibilities:

- End to end activities in debt raising for corporates

- Develop relationships with new and existing clients in order to expand the business

- Develop relationships with new and existing financial institutions to present the debt proposals

- Perform various valuation methodologies such as comparable companies, precedents, and DCF

- Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions.

- Conduct preparation and review of materials used in the financing of clients, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitch book

- Pitch debt proposals to financial institutions such as Banks, NBFCs and Funds

- Co-ordinate with financial institutions and client to successfully close the transaction

Relevant Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

- Relevant experience in debt syndication, investment banking, debt raising etc.

- Experience in developing proposals for debt raise

- MBA or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision

- Working knowledge of deal structuring and closing principals

- Strong communication and networking skills

- Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events

- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel

- Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes

- Strong financial modelling skills
