
Senior Manager/Associate Director - Marketing
Description:
The Senior Manager / Associate Director Marketing will own and drive end-to-end marketing execution, covering brand building, digital marketing, content, demand generation, events, and partner marketing.
This is a high-ownership role that works closely with leadership, sales, and pre-sales teams to build predictable pipeline growth and establish strong market positioningparticularly in cybersecurity and managed IT services.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Translate business objectives into actionable annual and quarterly marketing plans
- Drive brand positioning and solution-led marketing initiatives across priority markets
Demand Generation & Pipeline Enablement:
- Design and execute integrated digital campaigns delivering qualified MQLs and SQLs
- Partner closely with sales to improve funnel conversion, lead scoring, and hand-offs
Content & Thought Leadership:
- Develop high-impact content including case studies, blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, solution briefs, website content, webinars, and executive insights
- Build narratives that resonate with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and IT decision-makers in mid-sized enterprises
Digital Marketing:
- Own SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, marketing automation, landing page optimisation, and analytics
- Drive continuous improvement of the website and digital user experience
Partner & Channel Marketing:
- Execute joint go-to-market initiatives with technology partners and resellers
- Develop co-branded assets, partner toolkits, and co-marketing campaigns
Events & Industry Engagement:
- Plan and deliver webinars, roundtables, conferences, and industry events in cybersecurity and managed services
Brand & Messaging:
- Ensure consistent brand representation across all marketing and sales enablement assets
- Refine solution messaging across managed IT, managed security, SASE, compliance, cloud, and wireless security offerings
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track campaign KPIs, marketing ROI, and pipeline contribution
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership to improve marketing effectiveness
Candidate Profile
Must-Have:
- 8+ years of experience in B2B technology marketing (IT services, cybersecurity, SaaS, or managed services preferred)
- Strong expertise in demand generation, digital marketing, and content-led GTM execution
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, and cloud solutions
- Proven experience partnering with sales teams to drive pipeline growth
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth, multi-geo environment - Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Exposure to partner/channel marketing.
- MBA or equivalent qualification (good to have, not mandatory).
- Based in Bangalore or open to relocation
Preferred:
- Experience working with US-based and India-based stakeholders or global teams
