ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a high-agency, detail-obsessed Senior Manager / Associate Director to lead Growth Operations across our retail stores in Bangalore. This leader will play a pivotal role ensuring each store delivers strong unit economics by owning daily execution, store merchandising, brand visibility, and hyperlocal demand generation efforts.

Role is based in Bangalore and its 5 days work from Office

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Store Sales & Profitability:

a. Provide data-driven guidance to improve sales and profitability at the store level

b. Identify and troubleshoot operational bottlenecks quickly through structured routines

2. Merchandising & Brand Visibility:

a. Ensure flawless execution of category-led plannograms, offers, and display standards

b. Coordinate with the Category, Operations and Marketing teams to translate brand commitments into in-store visibility

c. Set up and manage store-level audits to track compliance and merchandising quality

3. Traffic Generation & Catchment Activation:

a. Design and execute hyperlocal marketing campaigns to drive new and repeat footfall

b. Understand store catchments, identify key opportunities, and activate partnerships, events, and offline touchpoints

c. Track ROI of activation activities and constantly improve playbooks

4. Dashboards & Reporting:

a. Build and maintain clear operational dashboards for daily performance review

b. Create routines for structured store reviews and feedback loops

c. Work with data and tech teams to automate reporting and issue-flagging

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has :

1. MBA from a Tier I or II institution

2. 6-10 years of experience in growth roles, or sales and marketing, retail operations, merchandising, FMCG/CPG execution

3. Proven experience in leading multi-location ground operations with high accountability

4. Strong bias for action, ability to lead from the front, and comfort working in dynamic, unstructured environments

5. Deep understanding of store-level P&L and performance levers

6. Excellent interpersonal skills - able to influence entrepreneurs and cross-functional teams

7. Proficiency in dashboards, reporting tools, and operational metrics

8. Fluency in Kannada and English.
