Job Description :


Role : PMO (Strategy & Planning)


Roles and Responsibilities :

- Partner closely with the Business Head and senior leadership to conceptualize and drive high-impact strategic initiatives.

- Lead the PMO function for key zonal/national projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and growth targets.

- Drive end-to-end program governance, including project planning, milestone tracking, risk identification, and dependency management.

- Own and drive the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in alignment with business objectives.

- Monitor business performance via MIS, dashboards, and analytics, and drive data-backed decision-making.

- Track zonal/channel performance metrics, identify gaps, and recommend actionable interventions.

- Lead monthly/quarterly business reviews/ townhalls, including preparation of leadership decks and executive summaries.

- Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration with Claims, Underwriting, Distribution, Operations, Finance, and IT teams for effective execution.

- Establish and strengthen PMO governance frameworks, reporting cadence, and process standardization.

Key Requirements :

Work Experience :

- 10 - 15 years of experience in PMO / Strategy / Business Finance / Corporate Planning roles.

- Strong and proven experience in the Insurance industry (General Insurance preferred).

Qualifications :

- Mandatory : Chartered Accountant (CA).

- Preferred exposure to strategy, planning, or business finance roles within insurance.

Key Skills :

- Strong expertise in strategy, business planning, and AOP/budgeting cycles.

- Deep understanding of insurance KPIs, profitability drivers, and business performance management.

- Advanced analytical capability including financial modelling, variance analysis, and insight generation.

- Strong experience in MIS, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.

- Excellent stakeholder management, with exposure to working directly with senior leadership/CXOs.

- Ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
