Senior Manager/Assistant Vice President - Finance Operations

Role Overview:

As a SM/AVP Finance Operations, you will be at the forefront of managing and optimizing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, collections, and business intelligence, to streamline processes and provide insightful financial reporting. Your work will directly impact the company's financial health by improving cash flow, reducing operational costs, and providing critical data for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily finance operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and banking activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for all stakeholders.

- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, preparing comprehensive financial statements and reports for management review and regulatory compliance.

- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Manage collection operations, implementing strategies to improve collection rates and reduce outstanding receivables, thereby optimizing cash flow.

- Prepare and analyze MIS reports, providing insights into key performance indicators and trends to support strategic decision-making by senior management.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance operations function, reducing operational costs and improving productivity.

- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth and efficient audit processes, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end finance operations, including accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.

- Proven expertise in developing and analyzing MIS reports, providing actionable insights to drive business performance.

- Strong understanding of collection operations and strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a recognized institution.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
