Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kan Ban, Industrial Process Engineering, Poka Yoka, Organizational product knowledge, Process knowledge, Industry Knowledge , Auto CAD, Basics of engineering concepts, Quality standards, ISO & OHSHAS requirements, Manpower handling, Production schedule, Machinery awareness & alternatives, Machine limitation & process difficulties, Project Management, MSP

Job Purpose :

To ensure achievement of pre-defined production targets, well within time and to maintain high standards of production quality through efficient processes and improvement programme.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Supervising & ensuring the team achieves the pre- set production target well with time.

- Ensure to achieve set productive man hour/ MT

- Responsible for ensuring minimum scrap generation with optimised WIP

- Accountable for ensuring quality products as per organizational quality standards.

- Responsible & accountable to create the awareness in team & blue collared workers for Process improvements initiatives (Viz: MY- Machine concepts, Poka Yoka & Safety related compliances & its impact.

- Responsible for ensuring timely vendor reconciliations are being done without error.

- Accountable to ensure minimum absenteeism & maximum productive man hours.

- Responsible towards ensuring smooth process & work flow for achieving set dispatch numbers within time.

- Ensures effective coordination between all the involved stakeholders for problem solving & mitigating the challenges if any.

- Responsible to create safe work environment and ensure zero-accident zone at production sites.

- Responsible to produce products as per engineering drawings without any error & matching with quality standards.

Leadership Accountabilities :

- Ensures the team & Blue Collared get maximum exposure on the technical duties in their job profiles.

And ensuring that the team members are accountable for their job profiles.

- Ensures the team members grievances are sorted out and closed till employees satisfaction within shortest possible time frame.

- Ensures that, team members gets required technical & behavioural trainings for their optimum performance.

- Ensures team members get deserved appraises during mid- year & annual appraisals of the organization.

- Ensures, organizational values & Vision-Missions are clearly communicated to team members and you lead them by examples.

- Groom & develop talent for further succession planning.
