Senior Manager/Assistant General Manager - IT SAP SD - Retail Domain

Description:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders and end users to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements, primarily within SAP SD, aligned with retail operations.

- Perform SAP SD configuration, customization, testing, and production support, resolving day-to-day system and business issues.

- Provide functional support across SAP FI and MM, including billing, pricing, inventory management, procurement, and financial postings.

- Design, support, and enhance interfaces between SAP and external systems such as POS, 3PL warehouses, finance applications, and third-party vendors.

- Work closely with technical teams on integration scenarios using IDocs, RFCs, APIs, middleware, and other interface technologies.

- Prepare and maintain functional specifications, interface documents, system documentation, test scripts, and training materials.

- Support solution architecture, blueprinting, data analysis, and functional design for SD-led retail processes.

- Lead and participate in requirements gathering and solution design workshops with business managers and stakeholders.

- Provide ongoing SAP application support and conduct user training sessions.

- Review and enhance existing SD and FI business processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

- Coordinate with external partners (e.g., IBM) for SAP SD/FI issues and cross-module integrations.

- Support and maintain SAPPOS and SAP3PL integrations, ensuring accurate sales, inventory, billing, and financial postings.

- Assist business users with SAP roles and authorizations in coordination with SAP GRC teams.

- Contribute to project scoping, best practice definition, solution demos, and internal/pre-sales initiatives.
